I have had a long career in multiple disiplines that led me to consulting. But my first love has always been figuring out how something works. Not in a "how does a car work?" or "how do tires stay on a car?", kind of way - nothing mechanical; more like how does this website know what colors to put where, the color of the font or which page to pull up when you click on a link.
🤯
I have experience working with Google Ad Words for some paid search word advertising as well as some display ads, but nothing is as satisfying to me as making sure the correct elements are on the page working overtime to get good results.
What We Do
I am here to help you get your website found on every search engine, no matter if you are running ads or just relying on organic traffic. I specialize in searching for the opportunities in your existing website code for greater benefits to your online visibility.
Your site is finished and live online. Now what? If you are the only person in the world with a website extolling the virtues of the product you are selling, you can probably be found fairly easily. Or if your potential customers already know your website address, Great! But let's just say you are in a competitive field like "how to grow tomatoes". The web traffic for that search would be huge. And the competition for ranking on the top pages would also be huge. Which is where I come in. I would analyze your site for the most common SEO keys, let you know the score of how you will rank to give you the best visibility possible for the organic searches WITHOUT having to spend Big Money Ads.
But say that you have already committed to paying for ads. Are they doing all that they could for your site's visibility most efficiently? My recommendations for your site will only enhance your ranking on the results page and, thereby, impacting the efficiency of your advertising dollars.
How I do it.
I always look at the basics: Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, Content Strategy, and Off-Page SEO. Altogether, it looks like an unknown, difficult list to start with. But I break it down into certain tasks, based on importance; usually focusing on the Technical and On-Page SEO, letting the Content Strategy and Off-Page SEO build over time.
These are important elements for your organic search results, but also for any paid advertising you may be using. All four of these elements will effect your cost per click on the ads to varying degrees.
The beauty of this is it works all the time, every time. No need to pay someone to create an ad for you, or to wait for your product or service to be in the public sphere for it to work. And for your site to be shown in the search engine results! While I cannot guarantee a first place position for your website on the search results, applying the SEO core pillars to your site gives it a fighting chance to be found closer to the top.
What's Next!
You have a site and want it reviewed for SEO best practices. Great! First you will need to book an appointment on this calendar, and provide the url where your site is currently hosted. Also, please provide any additional information about your websites performance (brand new site, not much traffic, how do I know how much traffic I am getting, etc). For additional review, list some goals you would like to see happen (200 visits a day, 200,000 visits a day, what does my sales funnel look like). At this first meeting, we will discuss all of this, we will get to know each other and I can schedule a follow up appointment with you to discuss the results of the testing.
At our follow up conversation, I will provide you with my recommendations to enhance your search rankings. The Meta Data and other tags designed to let the search engines know what the site is about: how "searchable" the site is, Keyword optimization, correct Schema Markup, and all the "boring" things necessary for the site to be optimized for the search engines.
After this follow-up call, you will have my recommendations to maximize your sites visibility on the search engines. If implemented correctly, you should notice improved Organic Search results, more traffic to your site, and, even better, longer and more indepth visits to your site, resulting in increased interest in whatever you are selling: a physical product, Training Session, or downloadable books just to mention a few.
Whatever you are trying to sell, a Good SEO strategy is a great place to begin. Get the basics in the code and you won't need to consistently worry about them: They will always be working for you. It may take some time to get everything implemented and working for your sites visibility on every search engine, but in the end, these basics will give you a strong foundation to build on.
